Nitty Gritty has a big goal, to be known as the St. George trash pickup experts. We are home grown and take pride in our awesome (not so little) town. Growing up St. George, we have had some front row seats to the enormous change the area has gone through, especially over the last five years. However, we tend to lean toward the less popular opinion among locals and truly welcome the growth. That’s right, you read that right. We are excited to see the change!
Without getting too preachy, we have seen fantastic advancements in opportunities in major industries right here. Healthcare, the arts, tech, and tourism are a few that have been positively impacted by the growth. This means more high-paying jobs, a stronger local economy, and more fun amenities. Oh, and let’s not forget, some of the work done here in St. George impacts SPACE TRAVEL! How cool is that?

Of course, with growth comes some negative by-products—namely, more littering. Queue in the St. George Trash Pickup Experts! Without giving away too much about our future plans, we are committed to doing our part to help mitigate this problem. The big question is how do we plan on going about doing that?
To be honest, that is yet to be determined. But we do have some things in the works that we are hoping to announce in the coming weeks. As that time approaches, we hope that becoming a St. George Trash Pickup Expert is something that more people want to become outside the Nitty Gritty crew.
Why Nitty Gritty
Nitty Gritty is a full-service junk removal business located in the heart of St. George, Utah. We haul away old appliances/furniture, debris left behind from remodels and renovations, clean out abandoned storage units (or units that just have a ton of junk the owner doesn’t want to deal with), do garage and home clean outs, and more. You see, our lives basically already revolve around trash day in and day out. It seems to make sense that our form of giving back should be to help clean the community that so graciously supports our business. So, that is exactly what we are going to do. We are proud to live up to the mantle of St. George Trash Pickup Experts.
